Executive Agencies

Belonging and Community Council

The Belonging and Community Council (BCC) is an executive agency under Emory University's Student Government Association, dedicated to fostering a campus environment where all students, especially those from underrepresented and marginalized backgrounds, feel valued and supported. The Belonging and Community Council (BCC) uniquely supports our organizations, working closely to uplift their missions of cultural celebration, civic engagement, and fostering a sense of belonging. The BCC is more than just a council—we’re a family, united by our commitment to amplifying student voices, advancing equity in university decisions, and building a more unified campus where diversity thrives and every student’s identity and voice matters.

Club Sports

The Club Sports Council (CSC) serves as the governing body that supports and nurtures the 30+ competitive club sports on campus, ensuring they run smoothly and have the resources they need to thrive—financial or otherwise. We work closely with the Student Government Association (SGA) to represent the needs and concerns of these clubs, providing a space for collaboration and support. Our mission is to create an environment where student athletes can compete at a high level and develop the skills they need to succeed. The Club Sports Council is unique because we engage with many different parts of campus, as nearly 1 in 5 undergraduate students participate in a club sport. Soyou'll often see them practicing around campus! We're all about encouraging participation across campus and helping students become leaders in the Emory community.

Emory Entrepreneurship & Venture Management (EEVM)

EEVM brings together an extremely diverse and talented pool of like-minded students, faculty, founders, and investors. Our mission is to demystify entrepreneurship and foster the entrepreneurial ecosystem at Emory and beyond. Since its inception in 2013, we have grown at an incredible pace and have become Emory's premier entrepreneurship organization. We provide students with the platform, resources, and mentorship to explore startups, tech, and VC. EEVM believes that no entrepreneur is complete without a strong startup network. We want you to start building this network in college and at Emory.

Outdoor Emory

Outdoor Emory is Emory University's outdoors club with over 1200 registered members. The club sends an average of two trips per weekend to destinations across the Southeast. Trips include backpacking, caving, day hikes, skiing, white-water rafting, and much more! All trips are substantially subsidized and all-inclusive (housing, transportation, food), enabling greater accessibility to outdoor activities that can normally be quite expensive. In addition to fun trips, Outdoor Emory has monthly general body meetings (GBMs) open to all members which involve food, crafts, activities, and other students interested in the outdoors at Emory! The Council is committed to protecting student freedom of expression and creating a supportive environment for student organizations in order to insure the production of quality material through responsible journalism, broadcast, and citizenship.

Student Programming Council (SPC)

The mission of the Student Programming Council (SPC) is to enrich the Emory community by providing a variety of quality entertainment for the entire university, making the Emory experience both enjoyable and memorable. SPC accomplishes this by planning and executing several events throughout the academic year, including traditions like Homecoming and Dooley’s Week. Their events are open to all undergraduate Emory students. All SPC events are entirely organized by students.
